We fabricated this project for The Contemporary Art Museum in Raleigh, North Carolina. They were looking for a local glassblower capable of making 1,000 glass bells for Brazillian installation artist Laura Belem. Her show "Temple of One Thousand Bells" has toured internationally and was on exhibit October 3rd - January 4th 2015 at the CAM. The bells were destroyed following the exhibit by dropping all 1,000 of them 15 ft onto concrete . As they smashed on the concrete floor, the remains were gathered and are now being reborn into new works of art. Photographs by Chris Ciccone and Beth Mandel
