The Toledo Museum of Art
The TMA limited edition commemorative ornament was created in 2018. In all, 200 were made and consisted of 2,000 individually crafted components that were sandblasted and then hand painted after assembly. This process required 100’s of hours and the utmost attention to detail.
Toledo Museum Artist Residency
Jonathan Michael Davis had the honor of participating in the G.A.P.P Artist program at the Toledo Museum of Art. Working with Alan Iwamura, Ryan Thompson, and Sten Neuber, he delved into new areas of furnace work and cold-working that developed introspection and new avenues for my art. The experimental work created from the residency at the glass pavilion was refined for a series of work to be displayed in 2022. Photos by Kara Fallon
