Have a special date night with your special person in our beginner date night glass blowing class. Share in this unique memorable experience and gain skills to create your first blown and solid glass pieces together.
You will learn from one of our experienced glassblowing instructors in a small group limited to 3 couples.
2-hour class
$299 for 2 people
Individual workspace with all materials and equipment included
Create and take home a glass marble or blown glass ornament
Friday Evenings 5:30 P.M. - 7:30 P.M.
Who is this class for?
With no previous experience needed, this class is open to all skill levels as it touches on many basic techniques used in glassblowing. You will learn how to safely operate different types of equipment and use a variety of tools to manipulate molten glass. This class is for two people who would like to take a glassblowing class together.
This glassblowing class is ideal for those who want to have a unique Date Night experience and want to share the joy of learning new skills with their loved one.
What will you be making?
In this 2-hour glass-blowing class, you will create and keep up to 2 pieces, including solid glass marble and a blown glass ornament.
To make your work uniquely your own, you will have a palette of colors to choose from. Once you finish your pieces, they are placed into kilns and ready for pick-up or delivery within a few days.
Individual workstations and small groups
You will be working on individual stations with all materials, tools, and safety equipment included.
Groups for our glass blowing classes are small and they are limited to up to 6 students. So there is plenty of time for our experienced glassblowing instructors to guide you through all of the steps needed to create your first glass pieces.
What is flameworking?
Flameworking is a type of glassblowing in which a torch is used to melt the glass. Once in a molten state, the glass is formed by blowing and shaping with tools and hand movements.
It is also known as lampworking or torchworking.
